Assignment: “Leaders from the Inside: Subconscious versus Conscious Secrets”
Dear “Girls in the LEAD” project participants,
To empower your psychological knowledge and competences you acquired during the “Leaders from the Inside: Subconscious versus Conscious Secrets” workshop, we propose you a set of tests to complete which will help you identify your psychological profile, in terms of leader’s personality traits, learning style, communicative skills, body language style and other dimensions. Let’s the adventure start!
‘Self-discovering” Psychological Experiment: Below you will find a list of psychological tests that you will help you discover your personality profile:
Psychological tests:
To do so you will need to follow the steps:
1. Take not less than 80% from the tests you have been offered;
2. Keep recording in writing the conclusions you get from each test;
3. Reflect on how accurate and relevant each test results are to you. Think how you behave like this, and in what circumstances.
4. Summarize all findings of yourself you discovered while investigating your personality profile in maximum 5 paragraphs.
5. Use these paragraphs to create your own ‘Self-discovering” Psychological E-portfolio, which might be in a video/blog/any media format. Your E-Portfolio will include information about:
· Your leadership skills
· Communicative skills
· Personality traits
· Learning style
· Handwriting analysis (include few pictures of your own handwriting ).
6. Post the link of your E-Portfolio as a comment to this bog post.

ASSIGNMENT 2
On October 29 we talked about personal branding and various ways for you to stand out of the crowd and put your best face forward. Please follow the instructions listed below and create a video resume which you will use in your future career.
Task 1. What is a video resume? Analyze the examples posted below and tell us how video resumes are different from paper CVs.

Task 2: Write your CV in a traditional form. Your CV should include the following sections:
· Personal statement (one short paragraph which would describe your personal brand – Examples)
· Education (where you studied or study at the moment)
· Skills (all your competencies, talents, knowledge)
· References (names and emails of people who could give you a recommendation: your teachers, your colleagues, your trainers)
· Achievements (diplomas, awards, prizes, certificates, trainings, workshops)
Task 3: For each section of your CV find relevant pictures and arrange them in the correct order: these can be personal pictures or images you can find on the Google Images: https://www.google.com/imghp

Using Animoto put together a video related to the leadership gaps. Be ready to share it with the team.
Leaders help themselves and others to do the right things. They set direction, build an inspiring vision, and create something new. Leadership is about mapping out where you need to go to "win" as a team or an organization; and it is dynamic, exciting, and inspiring.Having a great idea, and assembling a team to bring that concept to life is the first step in creating a successful business venture.

1)Creates an inspiring vision of the future.
2)Motivates and inspires people to engage with that vision.
3)Manages delivery of the vision.
4)Coaches and builds a team, so that it is more effective at achieving the vision.

ReplyDeleteLeadership doesn't have a definition. A leader is a person who know the answers. To be a leader is when you with your actions inspire people around you. The person who can get all he want with work and passion for what him do , can make the people who follow him feel confident.

Leadership is an interaction between several members of a group where everyone express their opinions and ideas. In the neighborhood like this you can discover yourself and see the world with different eyes.
Leadership is an organization of leading a group of persons with concrete visions, principles and ideas to realize them. Leadership also represents a team where opinions and solutions are agreed by the members and help them to achieve goals and inspire peoplea along the way. A good leader is a mentor who is able to think and solve difficult problems with success. Jim Guyesse said that " a leader needs to communicate in a way that makes people fell what they need to do.'' Agreeing with him i would like to say that every leader should keep in mind to be responsible, sociale, powerful and important.
